OFF Laboratory is a multidisciplinary NGO and independent press dedicated to experimental culture, radical literature, and boundary-pushing art. Co-founded by artist and writer Oleksandr Frazé-Frazénko, OFF Laboratory publishes voices that disrupt the dominant narrative, amplify the margins, and challenge the idea of control in a world obsessed with order.
We focus on contemporary poetry, essays, hybrid genres, and artist-driven projects that blur the lines between literature, music, and cinema. Our catalog includes bold new works like Nothing Is Under Control, FAQ Ukraine, Empathy Will Pass Someday, and other urgent books born from crisis, resistance, and imagination.
More than a press, OFF Laboratory is a platform for cultural experimentation—producing books, films, and live events that invite audiences to think critically, feel deeply, and act collectively. We are based in Ukraine and the U.S., publishing in English and Ukrainian to reach global readers who crave the raw, the real, and the unrepressed.
